What you can expect

Experience the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Kakadu National Park from the air on a 60 minute scenic flight from Jabiru Airport. Each passenger will enjoy breathtaking views of the lush wetlands, rugged escarpments, rivers and lands that are sacred to the Aboriginal culture with live and recorded commentary. Kakadu National Park has two major climatic seasons - the 'Wet' and 'Dry' seasons and your flight path may vary slightly depending on the time of year that you fly.

During the Dry Season (June - November): your pilot will take you over the Ranger Uranium Mine, across to Dinosaur Valley, Upper East Alligator Valley and along the twists and turns of the river. Keep an eye out for crocodiles sunning themselves on the river banks below before sweeping across Magela floodplains and Jabiru's famous Crocodile Hotel.

Visit during the Wet Season (December - May) to pass the Ranger Uranium Mine, Mt Brockman and along the escarpment to 'Lightening Dreaming and Deaf Adder Gorge. Take in the beauty of Double Falls waterfall and soar across the Arnhem Plateau until it drops away to the amazing Jim Jim and Twin Falls.

Australia's largest national park is best seen from the air on a Kakadu National Park scenic flight. Tick it off your bucket list and make your visit extraordinary.
